Instagram has launched a brand new feature that allows its 1 billion monthly users to choose from thousands of popular licensed songs to add to their Stories. The social media platform says the music library will be updated daily. The new integration comes after Facebook’s recent deals with record labels, which allows the feature to exist in a way that copyright won’t allow on its competitor, Snapchat. Instagram has 1 billion monthly users, while Instagram Stories has 400 million daily users. The Stories platform is growing six times faster than Snapchat’s entire app, according to TechCrunch.
