Bulldog Thank NDC Members For Supporting Him During His Arrest

Artiste manager, Bulldog, known in private life as Nana Asiamah Hanson, has revealed that influential people in the National Democratic Congress (NDC), including John Dramani Mahama, supported him during his brief incarceration by the National Investigation Bureau (NIB).

Bulldog was arrested by NIB officials last week for allegedly threatening President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during a discussion on an entertainment programme on Accra-based television station, UTV.

He was held for about 24 hours before he was handed over to the Police by the NIB for further investigations.

He was subsequently granted bail of GH¢70,000.00 with three sureties by an Accra Circuit Court.

According to media reports, he said “the President will not finish his tenure and that he will run away if he failed to pay customers of Menzgold their deposits.”

He has been charged with offensive conduct, conducive to breaches of the peace but has pleaded not guilty.

Taking to his social media pages after his release, he said he was humbled to have received calls from the top guns within the NDC.
